Establishing a set skin-care routine and "pampering" myself is something I have on my 2022 vision board. I'm excited to say that I've already gotten into a routine using products that really work for my skin! I'm not exactly sure what category my skin falls under (normal, oily, dry or combination) but my "problem areas" were dullness, dryness, large pores and uneven tones.
Everything I mention is linked below so you can shop this post. You can also check out more of my essentials in my Current Winter Favorites post!
Morning Skin-Care
La Roche-Posay: I picked this particular sunblock because I heard it wears nicely under makeup! I put this on first every morning.
CeraVe Daily Moisturizer: I've been using this forever and it's a great day-time face lotion. It's very lite and easy to use makeup over just like my sunscreen. But if you also struggle with dry skin, I wouldn't recommend this as your only moisturizer.
Nightly Skin-Care
Paula's Choice Exfoliant: This stuff is fantastic! Like I said I really struggle with big pores and blackheads around my nose. Since using this I notice a huge difference--if you're going to buy one thing from this post let it be this.
IUnik Tea Tree Relief serum: Amazing for evening my skin tone and giving me a healthy glow.
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream: My skin has truly never felt softer after using this lotion! It feels so refreshing to put on and just makes me feel clean and put together LOL.
Cetaphil Hydrating Eye Cream: I talked about my dry eyelids in my Winter Current Favorites TikTok and this product really saved me. I squeeze a pea sized amount onto my fingers and apply on my eyelids and under my eyes.
Micellar water: I use this to remove my makeup instead of using a makeup wipe. I have these reusable cotton rounds you can wash after using instead of throwing away. I always make sure to keep applying the micellar water until no makeup comes off on my cotton round!
CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser: I've been using this for a long time. My skin used to be pretty oily but since I started using this it's gotten so much better! I find that washing my face every-other night has the best results for my skin.
Hero Mighty Patch: If I have a big pimple, these are my go-to gals!
Clean and Clear Advantage Spot Treatment: I know Clean and Clear may be a questionable brand according to Skin Care By Hirum BUT I only use this on smaller blemishes and it just works better for me than the Mighty Patch.
And here's a no filter picture :)
Confession: I've always wanted one of those blackhead suction, vacuum things because nose strips never work for me. But Hero just came out with a Mighty Patch nose strip and I just ordered it! I seriously can't wait to try it :)
